    Hi SoCalBoy,

Thanks for the post. This could be caused by a number of things. The first step to start troubleshooting is just to up the memory limit for your site. You can do this by adding define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M' ); to your wp-config.php file.

If you are still getting the error, the next thing to do is to check for a theme or plugin conflict. Even if you can’t get to your dashboard, you can temporarily deactivate your themes and plugins by changing the folder name in you files, for example by adding a -2. Deactivate everything but The Events Calendar. If the issue persists there, then you’ve narrowed it down to our plugin. You’ll want to do the same thing for your theme to rule that out.

If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.

    Best,
    Leah

Thanks for that, similar to increasing memory for WooCommerce products. Your fix was great but I applied it to the wp-settings.php file and it worked fine

I am happy to hear you got it working Keith. That’s a great place to apply the fix. Cheers! – Brook
