Hi there. Sorry you’ve run into this issue. It seems that some hosts/servers are not properly removing old files when updating PMPro or keeping them around in a cache.

If it’s the latter, this might fix itself in a lil while.

We are about to push out a 2.10.1 version that addresses this by more specifically loading our report files. Look for that, upgrade, and let me know if it fixes things.

Not deleting old files up updates is very odd behavior though and might lead to other issues with PMPro and other plugins, so it’s a good idea to notify your host about this and ask for suggestions from them.

You could also look into backing up the ../plugins/paid-memberships-pro/ folder (the fact it didn’t delete properly could imply a developer changed code there… there is bad practice, but if they did it, you don’t want to lose that) then re-install PMPro from the zip file on .org here or via the dashboard if you can access it.

    Hello Support Team,

I have a same concern with the plugin that the its is showing the fatal error.
    Attaching the screenshot below.

Please note that this error is shown when the debugger is ON. Before this I could not login and there was a message appeared which shows that ONLY MEMBERS can login and this message was for ALL the pages of my site.

Please resolve this issue asap as my client is eagerly waiting for his website launch.

This is what I have had – First I could not get to my login page – nor obviously to my dashboard.

I discovered that turning off my AdblockPlus allowed me to get the login page and to then login.

I received the email that WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Paid Memberships Pro.

    WordPress version 6.1.1
Active theme: MH Magazine (version 3.9.13)
Current plugin: Paid Memberships Pro (version 2.10.1)
    PHP version 7.4.33

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 910 of the file

wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/includes/login.php. Error message: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function pmpro_login_failed(), 1 passed in
wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 308 and exactly 2 expected in

Having now managed to get into my dashboard I see the following:

    Site URL Change Detected

Warning:?We have detected that your site URL has changed. All PMPro-related cron jobs and automated services have been disabled. Paid Memberships Pro considers?--- here it shows the correct URL but I have removed it from the message ---?to be the site URL.

Dismiss notice and keep all services paused Update my primary domain and reactivate all services

What am I supposed to do to fix that?

My assumption is that all this has been caused by the latest version update. What am I supposed to do? Needless to say I have members who can’t login.

Is there a link to a working pre-update version? Or a fix being made available asap?

We will be changing the status to resolved as noted in your other thread. If you have any new questions or if your issue persists, please feel free to create a new topic.
