Fatal error – Players lists do not work

  • Hi,
    I upgraded to 2.1.2 this morning and then noticed that all of my players lists are broken. I tested creating new ones and trying new pages, etc…they still all result in this error:

    I have no idea why this occurred, but I was able to fix it by getting rid of the SEASON 0 we had everything tied to (as a test preseason). Again, not sure why adding a new Season and tying everything to that fixed it, but it appears to have done the trick. You can ignore this post unless someone wants to provide some feedback on what this error even means and why it happens.

    ok, you can close this ticket…sportspress configuration does NOT like it when you have 2 different player performance metrics tagged as the same name (Shots=S, Saves=S)… ??

    this caused all kinds of issues because the “key” it created for the 2nd metric (s-2) was being treated by the equation calculator as “s minus 2″…. it was literally trying to subtract 2 from the original “s” name as part of the calculation instead of recognizing that this “s-2” is nothing more than a key/nickname/identifier….

    all is well in shots/saves-ville now though…sorry for the bother

    Hi!

    Thanks a lot for sharing that. I believe though it’s worth mentioning to our dev team so I’ll send it to them so they can check and probably fix it ??
