Fatal Error: Out of Memory Error with WP 2.3 file cache.php line 48

  • Today, I went into my admin panel to post and I received a Fatal Error: Out of memory at line 48 in cache.php.

    It caused a locked file situation, once I deleted the locked file in wp/content, I was once again, able to post and the error did not return as of yet. I contacted my Web Host, and they assured me the server did not run out of memory, but are said to contact them again if I get another locked file situation. I don’t know if this is a WordPress v2.3 bug in includes/cache.php or not…

    I WAS using a caching php file called object-cache.php, which was placed in the content folder…it was working fine for about 3 weeks until today…
