    Since this update, I can’t edit an existing form, because when I click the form in the list, I get an eternal spinning gear icon.

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WPForms\Tasks\Actions\EntryEmailsTask’ not found in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/Tasks/Tasks.php:52
    Stack Trace
    1. WPForms\Tasks\Tasks->init()/home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/WPForms.php:367
    2. WPForms\WPForms->WPForms\{closure}(”)/home/***/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php:287
    8. require(‘/home/***/pu…’)/home/***/public_html/wp-login.php:12
    9. {main}
    thrown in /home/***/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/Tasks/Tasks.php on line 52

    The form seems to work, but clearly something goes wrong.
    I tried to delete and reinstall the plugin. To no avail.
    Latest WP and plugin versions.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello @pieter,

    Thanks for contacting us & we’re sorry to hear the issue you’re facing after the update.

    It looks like not all of the plugin files were correctly installed or some of the files were corrupted when you updated the plugin. Please login through FTP and go to wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite. Download the entire directory for backup purposes then delete it. Once deleted log back in to your WordPress admin area and under Plugins > Add New search for WPForms and reinstall the plugin.

    In case the issue persists,could you please try using the steps in WPBeginner’s detailed guide on troubleshooting WordPress to see if it helps resolve the issue?

    Thanks!

    After a lot of testing, we found that the problem is not coming from your plugin, but from another one. It has effect on the admin pages of several plugins. So you are rather a victim than a culprit. ??

    Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
    I am going to mark this as resolved, but would even rather prefer to delete this post if possible.

    Pieter
