Fatal error on two different sites

    I just activated this plugin on a site that is already running AutoChimp (MailChimp integration plugin).

    As soon as I activated BuddyPress Media, I got this error:
    Fatal error: Class ‘PublishEventsManager’ not found in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/autochimp/autochimp-plugins.php on line 58

    I received a fatal error on another BuddyPress site I manage, that also had AutoChimp running on it. It happened as soon as BuddyPress Media was updated about a month ago…

    Sorry – I removed this plugin from that site without reporting the bug, and I don’t know if it was the exact same error.

    That is an error from the Mialchimp plugin. The file is from there as well as the error. This is unrelated to BuddyPress Media. We don’t even have a class by that name.

    Could you contact the plugin developers?

    I know it’s happening because AutoChimp is already installed.

    What you might want to think about is: how many other sites will want to use both autochimp and bp media?

    Lots, I would say, given the popularity and need for both.

    Is there anything you could be doing differently to avoid this clash?

    I meant this more as an FYI. I’d say it’s a problem for both developers, if users have to choose one or the other.
