Fatal error on staging site:

    I am the owner of the WP STAGING plugin.

    This is the third time we are facing a fatal error with one of your clients:

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘Languages\Languages’ not found in /home/u29192p23054/domains/livingstory.nl/public_html/lsnieuw2021/wp-content/plugins/weglot/vendor/weglot/weglot-php/src/Client/Endpoint/LanguagesList.php:28

    This fatal error appears on a staging site that was created in a subfolder with WP STAGING directly after creating a staging site. The only way to solve this is to disable weglot on the staging site. Without looking into your code I guess you are using hardcoded paths for the class Languages in your application or no proper namespacing.

    If you need more information please let me know. This is a serious issue as this will make all staging sites incompatible with weglot if they are specifically created in a subdomain.

    Another issue: Sign up process does not work, and it always says “confirm mail address” even after log in. So no sign up process possible for me. I’ve used a *protonmail address for testing purposes a moment ago.

    After talking with @glx77 it turned out that WP STAGING is excluding the folder plugin node_modules from the cloning process. As a result weglot is broken.

    So this issue is no fault of weglot rather than a fault of the WP STAGING plugin which we are going to fix as soon as possible.
