    Dear Shaon, dear all,

I’ve installed the wpdm and its four free other fellows (including ‘extended shortcodes’); I’ve set up categories, sub-categories, etc. uploaded two files; see how it goes.

    Link here.

    1) [wpdm_tree] appears, the folders too, but not the files. Instead, it says ‘Fatal error: …/wpdm-extended-shortcodes.php on line 456’

    2) [wpdm_package…”link-template-button] displays a missing images. But the link works fine.

    3) [wpdm_package…id=””] displays some boxy dummies.

    4) [wpdm_all_package] creates some sort of conflict with the template’s website (Directory+) and switches the header, titles (and other stuffs) by codes. Snapshot here.

That’s a pity because it’s this listing one that interests me the most.

    5) Finally, I cannot change the settings. The ‘save’ icon just never stop spinning. Also in there, the ‘Server File Browser Base Dir:’ doesn’t fit with my FTP. I tried to change it but can’t.

Beside that this plugin doesn’t work with me (yet), I like it, and look forward to purchase the Pro. It has to be a conflict somewhere, somehow…

Please advice on to fix these issues, and let me know if you need any more info.

    All best and regards,
    Remy

    Hello,

    1. The issue with tree will be fixed in next update.

    2. Install WPDM Image button addon to show only image.

    3. Not sure what you are referring to..this shortcode generates preview based on selected link template.

    4. You can consult with your theme developer or post in our forum ( https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/forum/download-manager-free/ ) here for more details discussion about this issue.

    5. There might be some js error, try deactivating other plugins to find the possible conflict.

    Thanks.

Hi, and many thanks for this quick reply!

    1. Great. Do you know when that would be?

    2. I did. It doesn’t change anything.

    3. So maybe I have to check about this ‘preview’ then.

    4. I’ll do that…

    5. I did. And same that #2.

    Many thanks to you.
    All best, Remy

    Hi Shahriar, hi all,

I checked with the Theme Developers (AIT) and they state that they are not responsible for any 3rd party plugin installation/bugs/etc.

    My Theme is Directory+
The source from their forum is here: https://support.ait-themes.com/support/topic/83665

    I tried to add <?php wp_head (); ?> on header.php, but it doesn’t help.

    So one pre-purchase question:

If I buy the Pro version, could you install it (thus fix this issue) in my website? I understand it might be an open ticket or some sort…

    All best,
    Remy

If that issue is generated from plugin, we will definitely fix it and make it work in your site. If you have Pro, please open your ticket here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/forum/download-manager-pro/

    Hi Shahriar,

Honestly, the problem comes from that my theme (Directory+) is barely compatible with any plugin like JS, JQuery, etc. for my theme doesn’t have a wp_head() on its header.php but a {wpHead} instead. And that makes it complicated to work with…

The theme developers (ait) doesn’t offer any service regarding 3rd party plugin integration.

So it’s not like it’s your ‘plugin fault’, but a compatibility issue between your plugin and my theme. There’s a difference.

I’ll check what I can do and come back to you accordingly.

Many thanks for your respond, I appreciate sincerely!
    Best regards, Remy
