Fatal error on post publication

  • Since the upgradeto 2.5.1, each time I publish an article I get the following error message:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /customers/chacsam.be/chacsam.be/httpd.www/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 257

    The post is still published correctly, and everything works actually fine, but this remains worrying.
    Anyone has any idea about what he error function is supposed to do?

  • Sounds like your server is running short on memory, do you have some system monitor tool to look at memory usage?

    I was afraid of that. As I am running on a shared server, I don’t have that much access to the resources.
    I guess I’ll have to ask my provider.
