Hello – is this something that needs fixing for the future? I’m getting this on PHP 8:

Fatal error: Uncaught ValueError: Unknown format specifier “a” in /wp-content/plugins/seriously-simple-podcasting/php/classes/controllers/class-admin-controller.php:214

    Thanks ??

    Hi @timwakeling-1,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble with the plugin. A couple of questions: Where are you receiving this error within your site/plugin? Also, what version of the plugin are you using?

A couple of months ago we released a PHP 8 Combatility fix (Github issue: https://github.com/CastosHQ/Seriously-Simple-Podcasting/issues/604) with version 2.5.3 so that should have resolved this issue. If you’re still experiencing it with 2.6.2, let me know.

Hi – thank you for your reply!

I believed I was on the latest version of the plugin which is why I reported it, but I am beginning to suspect I was wrong and my copy was not synced properly. I haven’t seen this error since, so let’s leave it unless it occurs again. ??

Ok, thanks for letting us know. ?? I am going to set this thread as resolved but let us know if you run into the error again.

    Have a good one, Tim!
