Fatal Error on initial scan

  • Fatal error: cURL error 35: OpenSSL SSL_connect: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL in connection to wpvulndb.com:443 in /home/mysite/public_html/test/v3/wp-content/plugins/plugin-security-scanner/plugin-security-scanner.php on line 244

    Running PHP7 and WordPress 4.9.6
    Some paid plugins like Beaver Builder, BackupBuddy etc.

    Second scan didn’t reproduce the error.

    I’m tempted to put this down as a temporary connection issue between your server and the WPVulnDB server (wpvulndb.com).

    I’ll leave this support topic open in case you experience it again.

    I installed successfully on a couple more websites.

    But I tried installing this on website today.
    (this one running php 5.5)

    First time I ran, I got this:
    Fatal error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 5000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received in /home/mysite/public_html/thissite.com/wp-content/plugins/plugin-security-scanner/plugin-security-scanner.php on line 215

    After that, tried running a couple more times.
    Didn’t see an errors, but neither did I see anything else.
    The plugin just seemed to come to a stop.
    No error message and no results either.

    It’s a shame, because I was really excited about using this plugin.
