Hello and very thanx for your usefull plugin, I get this error on fresh install :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_home_path() in /xxx/xxx/www/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 128

I rollback with old event manager with no more success.
    Any clue ?
    I m on WP 3.6 and I m using Buddypress 1.7.2

  • Hi,

First, I’d try deactivating all plugins. If you’re still seeing that error, I’d reinstall WordPress. It looks like a missing file in the WP installation to me.

@caimin_nwl thanx a lot for your quick reply and advices.

I did all you suggest and did no effect, still the issue. No plugin and fresh install, when I reset the plugins folder everything is allright.

    Digging … ??

That means there’s problem with one of the plugins. If you reactivate them one at a time you should find the culprit.

    Done !
it seems important to activate “event manager” before the other plugins.
Everything is now functional, thank you for the help and time!

If you could list your plugins that’d be helpful for testing, someone else reently reported this too (first time I haar of this)…. maybe a coincidence, maybe not!

    @marcus
Sure here a liste of plugins I use :

    BP Auto Login on Activation
    BP Group Documents
    BP Group Email
    BuddyPress
    BuddyPress Auto Group Join
    BuddyPress Username Changer
    Email Users
    Events Manager
    Executable PHP widget
    Google Doc Embedder
    Lightbox Plus ColorBox
    Private BuddyPress
    Extension “User Role Editor”
    Widget Logic
    WP-Polls

I have not tested the plugins one by one, and when buddypress and event manager are enabled, everything works fine.

thanx a lot for your attention and for your awesome job.
