• Hi,

I read about this on your website. I do not have a large WordPress site. My host increased the memory twice. I am curious because I have used your plugin for a long time. I do not know what triggered this.

    Edit Post will not load:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 131023 bytes) in /home/u7913125/public_html/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4175

Maybe WordFence Security plugin? – I deactivated it but it made no difference. Only by deactivating RSS Multi Importer was the issue resolved.

Your thoughts as to why this would suddenly happen?

    Thank you

    Okay. Great! Thanks

I have a bunch of plugins installed. You can deactivate.

    Hi,

    Did you find anything?

I will probably have to rebuild my site on a fresh WordPress install. My third one this year. My host is going to mentally scream. We have struggled every week since Spring because of a couple of plugins. I love, and absolutely abhor, plugins.

My sites cannot work without your plugin. I need the feeds I follow aggregated to one place with categories – plus photos is a great feature. I cannot find another plugin that comes close to yours. I have come to rely on it after over a year – built a site around it (the other site on my MU install – where everything disappeared.)

I will watch here for follow up. Thank you.

I sent you an email saying I needed to edit the plugin files on your site because that’s the only way I can possibly see what’s going on and I don’t have access to editing that.

Also, on the site where everything disappeared, is it possible to get login credentials for that site because this is the only way we can hope to track down what’s going on there since we haven’t been able to recreate this problem on any of our servers.

Oh, sorry I did not check my email. How do you get access to the editing files – CPanel? UPDATE: I replied to your email. I am the Admin. I think you need to work from MY SITE/ NETWORK ADMIN menu.

The other site is the other site on the same MU install. Go up to the upper left corner to MY SITE button. The site is in the drop-down menu.

BTW: Things work on a third – totally separate WPMU install.

**I think/know that WORDFENCE plugin did something that messed your plugin up.

also, on your site where you say all the content was deleted, I just went in and see (with my plugin disabled) that you are getting an error message that relates to your inability to add a page or post on that site…not sure why you are getting this message, but that is a problem you need to eliminate.

Ah. Okay. Then whatever the problem is on the blank site may be effecting the other site. I will test those plugins as well and let you know.

I still think that WordFence did some damage at this point.

Well, do not waste anymore of your time. I disabled all plugins and got this error:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/u7913125/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 56

I am going to delete it all. Start over, again.

Thank you, and so sorry to waste so much of your time!

no problem….we are trying to track down why a few people lost content when they had our plugin activated…this is difficult because over 10,000 people downloaded the plugin last week with no reports of sites getting wiped out (you’d think if this was a major flaw we would hear about it from at least 1 of the 10,000 people). So tracking this down is very difficult.

Wow! It is a great plugin.

I think there is a conflict with other plugins. I have used it for over a year without any issues.
