I’m trying to upload images to a new gallery & every time i do, i get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ImageCreateFromJpeg() in /project/skippysanchez/htdocs/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/thumbnail.inc.php on line 183

    Any ideas what’s creating it?

    Thanks!
