• I’m using WP 2.7

I noticed that when looking at the published view of the blog that the comments button was not showing. So I changed the theme hoping that this would show it on a different design. Then a short time after doing that then I got this message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_comments() (previously declared in /home/content/m/y/h/myhorseis/html/wp-includes/comment.php:180) in /home/content/m/y/h/myhorseis/html/wp-content/themes/colorpaper/colorpaper/functions.php on line 37

I’m stumped as what to do. I can’t use the back end admin area and I can ‘t see the published result.

    Help and thanks in advance!!!

    /Steve

  • Hi, by using ftp, you can delete the colorpaper theme, if you copied and pasted the above error message it looks as though the theme is nested, your blog should revert to default theme.
    hope you get there.
    mike.

This happened to me with ColorPaper too and removing the theme through FTP and then applying a new theme worked.
