Our website is: https://www.compassctr.org — The events page is https://www.compassctr.org/events

I just updated both The Event Calendar and The Event Calendar Pro, both to the latest version 4.2 (before we had 4.14). We have a active license for Pro.

Our Event Calendar no longer works and we get an error which says:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_embed() in /home/content/76/10027176/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Templates.php on line 148

Need help fast. I’ll go back to the earlier version (which worked) unless this can be fixed. Any help at all is appreciated.

    Thank You,
    Ken

Thanks for sharing the solution klh! If you have a moment to expand on this, what version of WordPress were you using before updating?

    Cheers!

I had the same issue. Thanks to this information I was able to resolve with an update to 4.5.2. FYI the WordPress when it was broke was 4.3.4.
    THANKS – Mike
