    Hi,
Our site is experiencing some sort of error and I’ve managed to figure the cause of this error, but I am confusing here.

    The error message content:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function theme_breadcrumb() in /…./…../…./mysite/wp-content/themes/theme-name/lib/theme-functions.php on line 388

It seems the error caused by the plugin. I changed the login URL to my desired name (for an instance, logmein) instead of wp-admin, then when I try the default login URL, mysite.com/wp-admin then I got this fatal error message. Am I doing anything wrong or where am I missing for rename login page? Thanks and your early respond will be grateful!! ??

Hi in regards to the following comment.

I changed the login URL to my desired name (for an instance, logmein) instead of wp-admin, then when I try the default login URL, mysite.com/wp-admin then I got this fatal error message.

If you are using the Rename Login Page feature under Brute Force then you must use that secret word to login into your website.

    For example:

You cannot use [www.yoursite.com/wp-admin] any more while this security feature is activated.

Let me know if you understand my reply above.

    Thank you

    Hi,
I understood what you’re saying, but my query is what if someone try to log in through the default URL, /wp-admin after I enabled Rename Log Page feature, what is the correct response for the plugin to react? Shouldn’t it redirect the visitors to “404 page not found” or any common action instead of displaying Fatal Error message? That is where my confuse is, thanks again for speedy reply. ??

Hi, if someone tries to log in through the normal login entry, for example wp-admin and wp-login they will receive a 404 page not found error message.

Yes the plugin should redirect to the 404 error. If that is not happening in your website then you might have a theme or plugin issue.

In your case the error message you shared above.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function theme_breadcrumb() in /…./…../…./mysite/wp-content/themes/theme-name/lib/theme-functions.php on line 388

is related to your theme. Test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fourteen or Fifteen.

    Regards
