Fatal Error Message

  • I am getting the following msg when I try to go on my website link or my /wp-admin link (fr.phoenixco.ca) :

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/phoenixco/fr.phoenixco.ca/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/client-migration/edd.php on line 470

    Any idea how to fix this issue? Can’t access my website or my WP log-in page I’ve been going crazy for 2 days.

    Try to delete the ocean extra plugin using FTP and install a fresh copy of this plugin. Please provide the error log so that I can check it?

    I deleted the ocean extra plugin using FTP and installed a fresh copy as you suggested how ever now I’m getting the following message when I go to my website:

    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/phoenixco/fr.phoenixco.ca/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/client-migration/edd.php on line 471

    when I follow “/home/phoenixco/fr.phoenixco.ca/wp-content/plugins/ocean-extra/includes/client-migration/edd.php” path these are lines 471-474:

    471 if ( empty( $bundle_license_manager->get() ) ) {
    472 // Bundle license is not set, try to migrate per add-on.
    473 do_action( ‘owp_fs_client_migration_loaded’ );
    474 } else {

    really appreciate your help!

    An update in case anyone else run through this problem. I ended up renaming the ocean-extra plugin file and this made my website go back up. Not sure why that happened!

    Can you please explain what do you mean by renaming the files? ocean-extra is the original name. What was the name before renaming it?
