This blog is run on a sub-domain of another wordpress blog

I keep have a serious problem with my WordPress installation. I get an

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in /home2/ceasurac/public_html/brokenpostcard/wp-includes/

whenever I log into my dashboard. At first I took little notice & took the usual advice. I repaired all my databases, in addition I edited the php.ini files in the root directory of this blog and I disabled several plugins that required a large memory load and weren’t essential.

However, I can’t update plug-ins or install new ones without getting a fatal error message like this one. I am completely stuck at this point as to what I should do.

I would be so so so grateful for any help! SERIOUSLY
