    Ithemes security plugin white screen of death help please!

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in xxxxxxhtml/wp-content/plugins/better-wp-security/core/modules/file-change/scanner.php on line 434

    This only happens when I got to the mysite.com not the https://www.mysite.com which works!

    I use godaddy managed wordpress, deactivated the plugin still get this. Also changed max time from 30 to 120

    max_execution_time = 120

    More info: it is an https://www.mysite.com type of site if I try the regular https://mysite.com it gets the white screen of death.
    Any ideas or should I delete this plugin altogether?

    Try and set WP_DEBUG to true in the wp-config.php file.
    And check the web server error_log for any relevant errors.

    The Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded error points towards the File Change Detection feature (better-wp-security/core/modules/file-change/scanner.php).
    Disabling the File Change Detection module could help.
