Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

    I’ve narrowed this down to siteorign page builder plugin because when I deactivate the plugin or don’t use the “page builder” the error goes away and the page renders.

    All I was trying to do was put a row in and two widgets

    Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/onlineb1/public_html/wp-includes/nav-menu-template.php on line 371

    Any idea here?

    Please, try testing with only SiteOrigin Page Builder activated and all other plugins de-activated. If the issue persists, re-test with a default theme like Twenty Fifteen activated.

    Let us know how those tests go.

    I’m using a default theme 2012, child theme. Tested plugin on another site, same theme, worked fine.

    It’s possibly a conflict with a geotargeting plugin that uses short codes, we only insert a couple of tables in text with it though. I wonder why that would be, and how I’d address it?

    I’m not sure if that is the cause. On the original site, the site with the error, I’d try testing with just Page Builder and Twenty Twelve parent activated. If everything works fine, activate the child theme, if everything is fine activate your plugins one by one, doing a test after each activation.
