Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded

  • I am new at this, and my webmaster is a dweeb and has disappeared. My problem is, the links I posted and the archives have disappeared from the right side of the blog, and only a few entries show before I get message, Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/mouse/public_html/wp-content/plugins/markdown.php on line 422.

    I always get an exclamation, (!) done but error on page, is this related? It’s been a month and I don’t know what to do. help, anyone?

  • It looks like you have a plugin enabled that is screwing things up. I would start by going to the plugins page and disable the plugin called something like “Markdown”. And then try it again.
