Fatal error in Yoast when activating

  • I got a message when I entered wp-admin and I had to deactivate the Yoast plugin, I wanted to activate it again and I get this message:

    Fatal error: Namespace declaration statement has to be the very first statement or after any declare call in the script in /home/customer/www/SITE/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/src/presentations/abstract-presentation.php on line 3

    Yoast version: 15.4
    WP: 5.6
    PHP: 7.3.25
