    Hello!

I opened a ticket about this issue 7 months ago, but now the old thread is locked, and new replies can not be created.

BackWPup 4.X causes a fatal error in Windows environments when OpCache is enabled.

Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: JIT on Windows is not currently supported
    in?D:\Web Development\sandbox.local\wp-content\plugins\backwpup\vendor\phpseclib\phpseclib\phpseclib\bootstrap.php?on line?28

Contrary to what the error says, JIT is not enabled. This is a bug in phpseclib that was fixed in?3.0.23.
Can you please update the library and release a fix? There have been five plugin updates since the bug was reported, but this is still unresolved. How hard is it to update a third-party library to the latest version? (it takes 5 seconds to write composer update in your terminal)

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.

Our developers have informed us that starting from BackWPUp version 4.1.0, we are already using phpseclib version 3.0.23, which includes the fix mentioned. According to the phpseclib changelog, the issue should be resolved with version 3.0.34.

We expect this to be updated in the next release, which should address the problem you are experiencing. Thank you for your patience and for reporting this issue.

If you need any further assistance, please let us know.

    Best regards,
