  • Same here.

Our site is broken because of an update in AMPForWP.

I have the same error, home page is not working on Version 1.0.42

This was caused by a recent update from Yoast. We have just pushed an update that has solved this issue.

Here are the two important things you need to do:
    1. Make sure the AMPforWP is updated to 1.0.43
    2. Make sure “Yoast” is selected in the SEO section for proper compatibility, see: https://take.ms/r8a4L

Let me know if that fixes the issue?

    Hi Ahmed,

This fixed the issue but now there is another issue, the homepage is showing the below error, also the home page title is also not being fetched from Yoast, the title is showing incorrect.

The mandatory tag ‘link rel=canonical’ is missing or incorrect.

The canonical issue coming from the Yoast has been fixed in 1.0.44 version. So can you please check once and let me know if the issue is resolved or not.

Yes, I already updated the plugin but I see this error only on homepage
“The mandatory tag ‘link rel=canonical’ is missing or incorrect.”

I also see the page title for home page is incorrect it says “Homesc-dashsitename” but it should pick up the custom title defined in yoast
