Fatal Error Image Upload on wp 2.8.4

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6000 bytes) in wp-admin/includes/image.php on line 147

Anyone who can help with this i recently got this while uploading images to blog, never had this before but today i uploaded about 5 images and when i tried to add the 6 this error happens and no matter how i try it will not upload/crunch the image. Using standard image uploader that follows wp 2.8.4
