• One of our high traffic blogs has been crashing with the error, below. Initially, it was once every few weeks. Now it’s multiple times a day. Restarting Apache fixes the problem. A Google search shows loads of other people get this same error, but I was unable to find an explanation or solution. Anyone else encountered this problem?

  • Have you tried reducing the number of menu items in your custom menu(s)?

I have not. What’s the logic behind reducing of menu items? Is something timing out? Or overflowing? And why would it work for tens of thousands of hits, and then fail every hit until a reboot?

@example42 I’m seeing the exact same error (which showed up after a round of updates), have you had any luck in addressing the issue thus far?

I was never able to figure it out. It may been ops cache related (notoriously unstable). In the end, I migrated the blog to ZippyKid (had been planning to do that anyway) and haven’t had any problems. Good luck!
