Fatal Error found on Themes=>Customise

    Here is the error message I find on all my blogs tested so far when I attempt to use “Customise” either from the Front End or Backend.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method _WP_Editors::enqueue_default_editor() in /home/servername/public_html/domainname.com/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 3090

    I have substituted servername and domain name for Privacy/Security.

    This is found even when all plugins are deactivated and occurs on all themes including WP 2017.

    In One of my blogs none of the buttons of the Post Editor are showing. I don’t know if this is a different issue.

    Have you tried re-installing WordPress? Just from reading that error message it may sound like a file went missing.

    I haven’t tried that and it sounds plausible. On the other hand I am getting this error on several blogs in my account and for the same files to go missing in all of them sounds unlikely.

    All blogs working fully now. It was a combo of 2 plugins causing the ruckus – deactivating CKEditor and deleting Google Analyticator allowed me to access Themes => Customise successfully in all my blogs.

    Phew!
