My test site is running WP 5.2.7.
Using WP Bulk Delete 1.2.1, I got
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_timezone() in wp-content/plugins/wp-bulk-delete/includes/delele-posts-form-functions.php:534

It appears that the readme file is not accurate when it says Requires at least: 3.9
I usually use https://wpseek.com/pluginfilecheck/ to tell me what version to put, but it wasn’t cooperating when I tried it.
Please protect your users from fatal errors by keeping the versions correct.

    Hi @joyously

This version is for the current WordPress version so you need to update WordPress or You need to download an older version of our plugin which works in your WordPress version.

    Thanks

    Hi @xylus
The problem is not my WP version. The problem is that when you say “This version is for the current WordPress version”, it’s just something you say. It needs to be made to work that way using the built-in filtering that WP does for plugin versions. By putting the correct version in the readme file, WP won’t install a mismatched version, and I won’t get a fatal error.
So you need to take action, not me. (although I already reverted back to a previous version of the plugin)

    Hello @joy,

Thanks for pointing it out. We will update very soon the plugin README.txt file too.

Once again thank you for your input.

    Regards
