Fatal Error! Entire site disappeared. Failed Opening Required

    The site disappeared two days ago and gave me this message:

    Warning: require_once(/home3/elberge/public_html/borderlessmedia): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home3/elberge/public_html/borderlessmedia/wp-content/themes/virtue/functions.php on line 10

    Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ” (include_path=’.:/opt/php54/lib/php’) in /home3/elberge/public_html/borderlessmedia/wp-content/themes/virtue/functions.php on line 10

    I uploaded a new theme and it works fine, but would love to go back to ‘Virtue’ if I could figure out the problem (and yes, I replaced the functions.php file with an earlier version from when the site was working and it didn’t help).

    Oh, and in the admin panel it says this:

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    virtue Stylesheet is missing.

    Hey, can you post a link? Did you try deactivating plugins?

    Already tried deactivating plugins. The site is https://www.borderlessmedia.tv – it’s now running the TwentyFifteen Theme but it’s not nearly as nice as virtue was.

    Hey El_Berge,

    Sounds like you were updating the theme and files didn’t fully get installed from the zip file. Or something along those lines. Could have been a bad transfer but either way seems you were missing files on the site. And that caused the error.

    Best would be to removed the whole theme folder from your site then reinstall. I think that would work for you.

    That did not work for me, same error with Kadence themes
