Fatal Error em-event-locations.php

    Latest update gives me the following error and the plugin now has been disabled / cannot be reactivated.

    Warning: require(em-event-location.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in classes/event-locations/em-event-locations.php on line 68

    Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ’em-event-location.php’ (include_path=’.’) in classes/event-locations/em-event-locations.php on line 68

    I’ve tried safe mode in default theme + with other plugins activated. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin. Still getting the error.
    WP version 5.7.2
    PHP 7.4

    Hi,

    I tried to find this file classes/event-locations/em-event-locations.php but it seems that it’s not in the latest stable or Dev version of EM. can I know what is your current EM version, please?

    Apologies for the delay, I was traveling.

    I have been using Events Manager for about 5 years. When I tried to update the latest version 5.9.11.3 I received that fatal error. Rolling back (using WP Rollback plugin) to an earlier version of the plug in, I get that error again.

    If it’s not in the latest stable version should I try to delete that PHP file and see what happens?

    Or if you are curious, I could copy/paste the code content of the file.

    I just downloaded and expanded the Events Manager plugin ZIP file from the WordPress repository on my desktop.
    The em-event-locations.php and em-event-location.php files are located at that file path as noted, so they do exist.

    Any further input?

    Yes, I see what you mean now, did you install the plugin twice? can you check your plugins folder to make sure no duplicate events-manager folder? also, can you try upgrading to EM Dev version 5.9.11.4?
