I’ve been reading through the posts and see that there are still issues with Fatal Errors since the upgrage to 2.10.0. We are getting the fatal error below when trying to access pages or posts.

Fatal error: Declaration of Give\DonorDashboards\Tabs\EditProfileTab\ProfileRoute::handleRequest($request) must be compatible with Give\DonorDashboards\Tabs\Contracts\Route::handleRequest(WP_REST_Request $request) in /home/customer/www/globalelephants.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/give/src/DonorDashboards/Tabs/EditProfileTab/ProfileRoute.php on line 0

We updated the database as per another poster and am not seeing the hint about setting up the Donor Dashboard. At this point, we can either use the plugin or post to our blog by deactivating the plugin.

How do I roll back to a previous version? Will that resolve it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @respblog,

Our dev team released a new update today that fixes it and to do so you need to update GiveWP.

In this case, you can click on Plugins > Installed Plugins and click to update your plugins. If you do not see an update for it, it’s just the cache. You can navigate to Dashboard > Updates and click on Check Again. It will check for the updates and clear the cache and you’ll be able to update the plugin.

I’d recommend taking a backup of the site that you can confidently restore from. Here’s an article we wrote that explains more clearly how to do that: https://givewp.com/backup-for-faster-troubleshooting/

I just updated and it seems to be working ok. I was able to get to the posts/pages without seeing a fatal error.

Thanks so much for your help!
