    Hi,
I have this error when I try to go to the plugin settings:

    “Fatal error: Declaration of Ai1ec_Html_Setting_Select::render($output = ”) must be compatible with Ai1ec_Html_Element_Settings::render($output = ”, $wrap = true, $hidden = false) in C:\xampp\htdocs\s6global\wp-content\plugins\all-in-one-event-calendar\lib\html\element\setting\select.php on line 12″

    Hi @ruimag,

    Is this a local installation?

    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi,
    Yes, it is.
I installed locally first to try the plugin and do tests.

There is a form in the plugin settings that serves to sign into Timely Network – this is important if you use one of Timely addons. This form is trying to connect to our API, and since this is not possible with local installation, you see an error message.

    Thanks,
    Ben

But why can not access the server? I have an internet connection on my local computer.
And if so, does that mean that I can not use it locally?

Your installation is located on your computer/hard drive if it is a local installation, so it does not matter if you have internet connection on your computer, your installation or site should be “live”, it can be a test environment, subdomain, any URL but should be live and you will not see this error again.

    Thanks,
    Ben

I had the same problem. It occurred after switching to PHP 7.2. Switching back to PHP 7.1 solves the issue (at least for me…).

I just got a reply from AI1EC support staff:

Unfortunately our plugin works without issues with PHP versions up to 7.0.20, all newer versions can cause various issues. We will soon update the core to work with newer versions, but until then, I can only advise you not to use the latest versions.
