Fatal error: ‘continue’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context

  • A website I am supportng is coming up with the error below …

    Fatal error: ‘continue’ not in the ‘loop’ or ‘switch’ context in /homepages/33/d515745227/htdocs/app515745230/wp-content/plugins/1-flash-gallery/includes/ajax/upload.php on line 164

    No changes made by me since it was last touched 3 or 4 weeks ago, but possibly automatically upgraded. The error seems to appear on all website pages, including the WordPress admin login page.

    Any ideas?

  • I found your post and realized two things:

    You were having the same problem as I,

    and

    no one online had an answer.

    So I took things into my own hands:

    Go into your web content with you choice of FTP client, and delete the 1-flash-gallery directory.

    This resolved the problem for me.

    The one note here might be:

    That I never really used this plugin much, so there was no real impact; if you use it at all, I would assume that the related content would be missing when you started your site.
