Right off the bat I want to say thanks for this support forum, I’m so happy to be here.
I have been searching and reading and can’t find a resolution for the problem I have, though have found all the post’s and fix’s very interesting to read.

I am using bluehost for ftp, my first mistake was that I was uploading a new theme “jounalized-blue” into the wrong category, found that mistake and then uploaded files to the right directory, at the current time all files are uploaded and are visible in my presentations folder at wp. No error messages are on the “theme” portion of the wp. editor section where as yesterday I was getting “template not found”

When I click “view page” I have been receiving the following error code
‘Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/santacla/public_html/index.php on line 4’

I know just enough HTML to be dangerous ??
I am not familiar with CSS, however I am eager to learn!
Am I in over my head?
Do I need to contact Bluehost for support or can you folks help me?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Look in your index php file to see what it says on line 4…it’s calling for something you don’t have (I think).

Thanks for the reply … though the deeper I go the further I get.

In the wp file section the index.php is not there, I’ve gone back to bluehost and uploaded again with a re-write. All permissions are ok. Still seeing error code. index.php is visible at my files bluehost.
Also the URL is SantaClaritaRealEstateNews.com forgot to add that earlier.

Ok … I have my blog back! I went ahead and un-installed and then re-installed it all appears normal now. Next time I upload a new template I need to make double sure I’ve put it in the right directory … doh!
