• Hi,

Can anyone please help? This is the message I get when I try to access my WP log in area.
I had just created a child theme for cloriato-lite. As I have done before following instructions in codex – created a new directory and included the style.css file. I activated the new child theme and then it all went wrong! I can’t even get back in to revert back to the original cloriato theme. What do I do now I’m not a programmer.

  • You need to rename your folder to cloriato-lite-child (you can’t “really” use a space in online folders or files…

    Hi,

Thanks for your advice. I’ve renamed the folder to cloriato-lite-child but I still can’t access my WP log in?
    Any ideas…

    Thanks

My best guess is that the system can’t load the current theme because it had a space; and now it can’t find the theme.

Ask your hostingprovider if they have any recent backups… I think you need to reset the database…
