    Just updated to the latest version of the Tribe plugin, and my entire site is broken. Can’t even get into wp-admin to disable or roll back the plugin. The error I’m getting is:

    Fatal error: Class ‘Tribe__PUE__Package_Handler’ not found in /var/sites/s/surreyhorticulturalfederation.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/PUE/Checker.php on line 200

    Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this? ??

  • Is it safe do delete the diretory “the-events-calendar” via ftp?

    Is it safe do delete the diretory “the-events-calendar” via ftp?

    The new Version 4.3.1.1 does fix this.

    Yes its safe to delete the old directory via ftp and reinstall the new update.

    Noticed my events had a 404 error after installing the old version 4.3, fixed this by installing the updated 4.3.1.1

    @mircom

    Yep it is safe to do so. You could just manually install the plugin current version as well.

    Same problem with my website. No website. No ability to login to wordpress. Everything is gone.

    It’s an easy fix, which has been outlined several times in the thread already.

    Thank you so much!!! It worked.

    Hi everyone. We apologize for any issues experienced on your site.

    The most straight-forward resolution is to delete The Events Calendar?plugin and re-install a fresh copy from the wp-admin plugin screen installer.

    Deleting The Events Calendar or its add-on plugins will NOT delete any of your data if you delete it via the WordPress plugin manager because that’s how we’ve decided to code our plugin.

    FYI: deleting?any plugin via FTP or cPanel’s File Manager (i.e. deleting just the files from the server) will also ensure a plugin gets deleted (if you delete the entire plugin folder) without removing any data from the database. This can sometimes be helpful to know in cases where a plugin?does run an uninstall routine to delete data (again, our plugins do not run such a routine at this time and probably never will).

    You can also see the difference when you click to delete a plugin, like this.
