    Hello,

    Thank you for developing this plug in, I’m hoping it can work for our large site. I’ve installed the plug in and have entered all of the Joomla site data, but am getting the following error:

    Fatal error: Class ‘PDO’ not found in /home/shebuysc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/fg-joomla-to-wordpress.php on line 348

    Help!

    Thanks!

  • I’m getting the same thing. I’m not even trying to import yet. I get this when I test the connection to the Joomla DB. I get this at the top of the plugin page above the title: Import Joomla Premium (FG):

    Warning: PDO::__construct(): Connecting to 3.22, 3.23 & 4.0 is not supported. Server is 4.0.27-standard in mylocation/wp-content/plugins/fg-joomla-to-wordpress-premium/fg-joomla-to-wordpress.php on line 341

    @insitewebdev: The answer is in the FAQ:
    PDO and PDO_MySQL libraries are needed. You must enable them in php.ini.

    @ddonzal: It works only with MySQL 5. A workaround is to export your Joomla tables and to import them on your WordPress database with PHPMyAdmin.
