FATAL ERROR: Class apiAuth not found

I’ve managed to restore my settings so it’s up and running again. Any idea why the update is doing this?

Downgrade to 1.3.3. That worked for me.

How can you downgrade or restore settings when it won’t even let you login to your account?!

You will need to access your site via FTP and delete the plugin directory for this plugin. Or, access your WP database via phpMyAdmin and disable all of the plugins, restore all except for this plugin then downgrade. I was able to do a full restore from Godaddy’s automated back up to yesterday to get my site back.

Renaming or deleting the /google/ plugin is a quick and easy fix. At least to get your site back up and running.

Then downgrade to the previous version.

My website is hosted by WordPress & GoDaddy – which keeps backups of my website, so I reloaded an older backup and it was up and running again. Plan is to not run the update for Google plugin.

I could reproduce the issue using latest version of The Google+ plugin therefore i have notified the plugin developer about it so that it can be fixed.

The issue will be fixed shortly releasing new plugin version.

In the meanwhile you can just use the previous working version of The Google+ plugin by downloading it from the following page.

If for some reason you can’t access admin area of your site due to the issue of this plugin then you can disable this plugin just renaming the following plugin folder using FTP or cPanel File Manager.
