Hi lowcountryvistacharleston,
Thank you for reaching out, we’re so sorry you’re having this problem.
Fortunately we have a solution and recently released an update that fixed this issue.
I understand that you’re not able to access your WordPress dashboard, so a manual removal via FTP is needed in order to get back in.
You can remove the plugin via your FTP by deleting the plugin.
This would require access to your control panel via your web hosting solution.
Once logged into your FTP, you can find the folder under:
/public-html/domain-name.com/wp-content/plugins/googleanalytics/
Delete the whole folder of /googleanalytics/ and you should have access to your WordPress dashboard again.
Hostgator has a great guide here:
https://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/wordpress/how-to-installuninstall-wordpress-plugins
If you’re having issues with this step, most hosting support can do this on their end for you.
Once removed you should be able to get back into your WordPress back end and reinstall our new version which is completely compatible.
Apologies again everyone on this error, please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback.
