  • So, getting this error – can’t even login to the dashboard.

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home2/bretweir/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sell-media/inc/helpers.php on line 129

    Not sure of the version of WP since I can’t login and I honestly don’t remember.

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

  • Do you have access to the site files via FTP, SSH or cPanel?

    If so, you can rename the plugin directory and it will become disabled and the site will become active again.

    I would also recommend looking at that helpers.php file and paste the function around line 129 so we can see whats going on.

    Disable the “sell-media” plugin by renaming its directory to something like wp-content/plugins/sell-media-off. Use FTP or your host’s control panel file-manager application to do the renaming.

    I can’t get into the cpanel. Same error. Haven’t used ftp for this blog yet. Will try

    Contact your host’s tech support if you cannot login to their cpanel.
