• Hi Folks

Whenever I try to search for installed themes (or install a new one) in a fresh WordPress 3.5.1 (path: Admin Panel > Appearance > Themes) I get a

Fatal error: Cannot run code from this file in conjunction with non encoded files in (two random UTF-8 chars) on line 369

The two random chars can be o2, àx, £¢ or any strange non-ASCII combination. The funny thing is that themes.php does not have a line 369…

As I said, the site is a fresh WP install with NO plugins, NO other themes and NO content. The only installed themes are Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve.

I think it is not related to version as it used to happen on 3.4.x also.

I’ve contacted my hosting provider (Mochahost, by the way) to see if they can help, but they keep telling me robot answers like “clean your browser cache” ant things like that.

I just can’t start workin on a client’s website because I can’t upload any theme.

    Any clues?

Forgot to say: the two randoms characters are different everytime the error appears, even if triggered by the same acition (e.g. click the upload button on the Install Themes screen).
