Fatal error cannot use site at all!!!!

If you still have FTP access try renaming the directory: “plugins” inside wp-content (or better) make it empty.

Usually this can also be done through the Hosting access.

I cant get into anything, it says home and thats it, click on home and nothing

It may also help to think about what you changed before this error appeared, as, presumably, it didn’t just start of its own accord.

I know what i was doing at the time, i was trying to put in a bar across the top of my site with tabs, however, I find it hard to believe that something so drastic can happen to a site when entering hotmail code! It should not be that easy to corrupt, all I was doing was entering a code that someone had psoted for a plugin. Clearly plugins shouldnt be followed then, if that is what you are saying.

It’s not “hotmail code”. It’s HyperText Marklup Language – HTML.

And – yes – if you get it wrong. it can stop your entire site from being displayed properly.
