  • Hello @arro:

Here’s an ‘under the hood’ solution to deactivate the plugin named ‘strong-testimonials’. It’s a work around from logging into your site, opening the Plugins Admin page, and using the Admin interface to deactivate ‘strong-testimonials’.

Log into your web host (I am assuming here that this support request concerns a remotely hosted web site. However, you didn’t say specifically.).

    Go to the file manager.

Drill down into the file directory structure. You probably need to target the ‘home’ directory (where your WordPress site files reside for ’empirenail’). The ‘home’ directory is probably named ‘www’, or ‘public_html’.

    Find ‘/public_html/wp-content/plugins/strong-testimonials’.

Rename the plugin ‘strong-testimonials’ to ‘_strong-testimonials’. You’re going to add an underscore in front of the plugin name. That will deactivate the plugin on your site, AND preserve the plugin files at the time.
