Looks like you duplicated a function – new_excerpt_more() – in functions.php.

Yes, that was what I thought, but I had copied the original code from before I started and pasted that back in and it continued to give me that message – surely the original code didn’t have that problem or I should have seen the message before.

Anyway, then I was stupid and logged out thinking that I might just try rebooting my computer – well now I can’t get back in. My username and password don’t exist as far as word press is concerned so I couldn’t get in to change anything if I tried.

I’m at a bit of a loss. The worst part is that it is the website for the charity that I work for – so I’m in big trouble!

Oh, I just noticed that you are a moderator… is there any way that you can help me to get back into my account?

Try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming wp-content/themes/energize to wp-content/themes/energize-old using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

They won’t be able to help you either as your site isn’t hosted by them.

So does that mean that I will have to contact whoever is hosting my site?

You can try, but many of them don’t know much about WordPress.
