• Hi there

    Not sure if this is an issues with BackWPUp or another plugin. I have a site that apparently declares PEAR before backwpup does. When I try to access some parts of the site I get:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class PEAR in …/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/vendor/pear/pear-core-minimal/src/PEAR.php on line 84

    Is this something that should be checked within backwpup or elsewhere? (presumably both plugins could check that PEAR is not already declared?)

    thanks
    mickey

    Thank you. Let me know if you need any additional info or testing for me. I can provide Some additional info in private as needed.

    Hi @duongcuong96,
    I’ve got the same problem with this plugin. Is this bug already solved in the latest version?

    @gbenner
    Could you please update BackWPUp to the latest version?
    Thanks!

    I am getting the same error and it’s made our CiviCRM install stop running all CRON jobs, which is really a big problem. We only run CRON for CiviCRM, so I don’t know if this would affect any other CRON jobs. I am at version 3.6.2 of backwpup and right now it’s deactivated because we can’t use it on our website. Backwpup is currently deactivated – we can’t use it as CiviCRM is more critical to us. We’re currently doing manual backups which is a pain. Same error message:

    PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class PEAR in …/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/vendor/pear/pear-core-minimal/src/PEAR.php on line 84 ===========

    We’re not sure how long this has been happening as this issue has only been discovered now.

    Hi everyone (and @duongcuong96 )

    I updated to 3.6.3 and tested: the issue still exists. I took a brief look at the code and I don’t really see how PEAR is used except of msazure.

    Any update on this issue?

    I love BackWPUp, but it’s causing me this error on a site with CiviCRM also installed.
