I had been trying out some new gallery plugins with filmstrips in them. The last one I tried was this https://wpultimategallery.xyz/galleries/filmstrip-gallery/

Did not notice the .xyz until just now.

My website gave me the following error. so I rebooted, and it still gives the fatal error.

Everything else is working fine on my windows 10 PC.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare aq_resize() (previously declared in /home/dnipho5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-ultimate-gallery/libs/aqua-image-resizer/aq_resizer.php:237) in /home/dnipho5/public_html/wp-content/themes/CherryFramework/includes/aq_resizer.php on line 141

    thanks

    Update:

I was able to get in through my cPanel account. followed the string to the plugin folder and deleted it.

So I guess it’s resolved, but I’m still looking for a gallery with a filmstrip. I don’t mind paying for a “pro version” once, if it will do the job, but don’t want to subscribe. I do enough of that with Adobe.

I thought it was resolved. I guess I got a “brute force” attack according to my hosting service.

I can now log into my admin panel, but when I try to add a new plugin I still get the same message. It says the error is in the aq_resize.php file. If it corrupted can it be deleted and/or reinstalled?

Can I paste the file here as text to be examined? or was it installed by an image plugin. I deactivated ALL my image plugins, but the error remains.

    Thanks

    More clues:

If I log into the webmaster admin page I can access the home page from there AND from my browser on another tab as if I was someone just surfing the web.

But if I log out of my admin window, and then click on my home link I get the dreaded 404 error. It fails on both tabs.

If I click on my website from a different PC or my phone I get the 404 error as well. So my site ONLY works if I login on my main PC either as the webmaster or other user.

I’m desperate to get this fixed. The folks that built my site are out of the office until Jan 4 2017.

I thought I had set up a regular backup to my site, but the only one I see, is one back in June when it was developed.

    Thanks

Found a local web developer, that fixed it for $100. I had a duplicate home page, that was a draft, that evidently got turned on in the process of testing plugins.
