No, do not delete wp-content. That’s all the stuff you uploaded.

All I have is the regular w-content/plugins directory. That now has just the new plugins from my previous WP download. I’ve got a new download I did today (the other was last week) and I’ll try the steps again.

I’ve got a lot of old themes in the theme directory. Should I maybe delete all but twenty seventeen?

Looks like I’m in at at the new setup page. replacing the .php files at site root seemed to do it.

    Thanks.
