    Hi,
I started seeing errors on my posts with co-authors.The error message is:

PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method stdClass::get_avatar_url() in /var/www/example.com/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/publishpress-authors/src/modules/yoast-seo-integration/src/SchemaFacade.php:50

I had to roll back to version 3.14.5 to make the error go away.

It may or may not be related to the this message in the 3.14.7 release notes “Fixed: Only allow mapping authors to users who have edit_posts capability, #492;”
My site has post authors who no longer have any capabilities. That is, they were once authors or moderators but have no had their privileges revoked.

Is there any more information you need to address this fatal error I am seeing.
You have responded to a more recent query, but not this.

I notice there is a new release out which doesn’t explicitly address this bug.
Will it be fixed in this new release?

Update: I see that 3.14.8 does not fix the fatal errors. I’ve had to roll back to 3.14.5 to stop them.

Any chance I could have some kind of response here to acknowledge the bug and an indication of when you might look into it.

    Hi @mikelittle

Apologies for the slow reply. As you saw, we normally reply much faster and more effectively than we did here. It was a crazy week last week.

Our lead Authors developer is out today, but I’ll aim to get you a reply early tomorrow (Tuesday).

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for reporting the issue.
Please, could you try the following beta package?

It addresses the bug you reported.

    Thanks,

    Hi Anderson,
That does seem to have fixed it, thanks. I’ve left that on my site for now. When will the release be generally available?

    Hi Mike,

    Cool! Thanks for the feedback.
We are planning a release for early next week.
Feel free to update it when it is available.
