Fatal error: Call to undefined method sqlsrv_wpdb::delete()

  • Attempting to upgrade from 3.1 to 3.4.2. The site is on Windows with IIS7 and MS-SQL 2008.

    The error is

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method sqlsrv_wpdb::delete() in \blog\wp-includes\option.php on line 370

    I have three blogs using WP. We are having significant problems with the product running on IIS using MS SQL.

    Should I be looking for a different product? Is WP simply for Unix and MySQL?

    I have been struggling with these blogs for over a year.
